Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and create tailored treatment plans based on individual evaluations, medical history, and diagnosis.
• Implement and adjust therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, prevention strategies, and post-operative care, ensuring understanding and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Track patient progress through meticulous documentation and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain adherence to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment for both patients and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will encounter a diverse patient demographic, each requiring unique approaches to achieve optimal recovery. Understanding individual patient needs and adapting treatment modalities accordingly will be essential to your success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Current active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is mandatory.
• Proficiency in developing and modifying rehabilitation protocols tailored specifically to orthopedic conditions.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, ensuring you are equipped to handle emergencies in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience
