Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments by utilizing standardized tools and methodologies to evaluate patients' mental health needs effectively.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices that address individual challenges and objectives.
\n
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and other modalities as appropriate to foster resilience and coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely clinical records in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Collaborate regularly with our multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other social workers, to coordinate care and discuss patient progress and treatment plans.

• Provide psychoeducation and supportive counseling to patients and their families, assisting them in understanding mental health challenges and available resources.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of current research, treatment methodologies, and best practices in social work and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse group of individuals and families, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients. Many of our patients face various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological disorders. Our goal is to address the mental health needs of our community effectively, offering tailored support to each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
\n
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with solution-focused psychotherapy methods.

• Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy, active listening, and problem-solving.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-master’s experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient mental health.

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team and familiarity with telehealth practices are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience.
