Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Hopeful Serenity Waves Counseling, your major responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of students to identify their mental health needs and developing comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.

• Implementing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to support mental wellness.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all client information is securely managed.

• Collaborating closely with school administrators, teachers, and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated care and support for students.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance the quality of care and share insights with colleagues.

• Providing educational resources and emotional support to students and their families, empowering them to navigate mental health challenges and understand available treatment options.

• Keeping abreast of the latest research and clinical practices in the field of mental health and integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents who present with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
