Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work within a telehealth framework. You will conduct virtual therapy sessions using secure online platforms, allowing you to reach clients effectively from various locations. Although the work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding participants in processing their trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment for our clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention when necessary, supporting clients through trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Inform patients and their families about trauma responses, offer education on coping techniques, and connect them with relevant resources.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to patient privacy.

• Engage in regular case consultations and attend team meetings to enhance the quality of care we provide.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure effective treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your role will be individuals recovering from trauma, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, accident, or other distressing events. Your expertise will support clients grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. You will foster a trusting therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to share their experiences and work through their emotions in a safe space.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred; however, candidates with a strong academic background may be considered.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care practices.

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to client interactions.

• Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations and demonstrate resilience.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and software applications.
\n
• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote client-centered care.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable. We value candidates who have a proven track record in applying therapeutic techniques such as EMDR or TF-CBT, along with those who possess training in other innovative trauma-informed methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
