Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Virtual Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand each client’s unique mental health needs.
• Provide ethical and compassionate therapy through video consultations, ensuring safety and confidentiality at all times.
• Implement solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to individual client goals, making effective use of evidence-based strategies.
• Craft personalized treatment plans, closely monitoring client progress and adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary.
• Facilitate discussions that help clients delve into their thoughts, feelings, and interpersonal relationships, fostering deeper understanding and personal growth.
• Guide clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms and strategies to manage their challenges effectively.
• Document therapy sessions as required while maintaining minimal paperwork to focus more on client interactions.
• Participate in regular team meetings and utilize feedback mechanisms to enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with low-acuity adult clients who are stable but in need of ongoing support and guidance. This population includes individuals navigating life transitions, stress management, relationship challenges, and personal development. Your expertise will contribute to their overall mental wellness and quality of life.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and valid state license as a Mental Health Counselor, including LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Ability to practice independently without supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a commitment to ethical practice in mental health.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:

• Previous telehealth experience or familiarity with digital therapy platforms.
• Exposure to solution-based therapy methods and a strong foundation in various therapeutic modalities.
• Experience in working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competencies in therapy.
