Work Environment\n

This role is conducted entirely remotely, emphasizing a supportive and flexible work environment. Our practice operates primarily through telehealth, utilizing a variety of digital platforms to connect with patients. You will be equipped with the latest technology and resources to facilitate engaging sessions, ensuring patient privacy and comfort while effectively managing your caseload. We understand the importance of work-life balance, and while our standard hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, there may be some flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive, taking into consideration the unique experiences and backgrounds of each patient.

• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions that align with patients’ cultural perspectives.

• Provide therapy sessions to individuals, families, and groups, focusing on mental health concerns and fostering resilience through tailored strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.

• Implement crisis intervention techniques and provide emergency support during mental health crises.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, enabling informed decision-making and active participation in care.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a clear record of all interactions and treatment progress.

• Engage actively in case conferences, contribute to team meetings, and participate in ongoing cultural competency training to enhance service delivery.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment to continuously refine your therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a mental health counselor (LMHC), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), or clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; a Master’s or doctoral degree is preferred.

• Strong commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity in mental health treatment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.

• Proficiency with telehealth technologies and electronic health records (EHRs).

• Prior experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
