Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for great flexibility and the convenience of working from home. Our counselors enjoy a well-structured schedule, with typical work hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Each counselor can effectively manage their workload without the demands of on-call duties, creating a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance abuse histories, ensuring comprehensive understanding of their needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s situation and preferences.

• Collaborate with fellow treatment team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to develop integrated, patient-centric care plans.

• Provide education and support to clients’ families, fostering their involvement in the recovery process to enhance overall therapeutic outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records in compliance with all regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidates will work primarily with adolescents and young adults who are pre-screened, stable, and present with low acuity issues. Clients are seeking support in navigating various psychological challenges, and your expertise will guide them toward achieving their mental health goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• Active state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience in telehealth therapy is essential, with a focus on working effectively with adolescents and young adults.

• A proven ability to engage with clients warmly and empathetically, displaying professionalism and care in all interactions.

• Advanced proficiency in technology, including the use of Google Suite and electronic health records, to streamline workflows and enhance client communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• 2-3 years of experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions is strongly preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in effective counseling strategies.
