Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for children enrolled in early intervention programs, ensuring each assessment is tailored to the unique needs of the child and family.

• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to set goals and strategies for each child’s development.
\n
• Monitor child and family progress by collecting outcome data and adjusting intervention strategies based on the findings, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
\n
• Provide direct support and coaching to families on enhancing their child’s development, utilizing evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment framework.
\n
• Develop rapport with children and families, fostering a safe and engaging learning environment that encourages participation and growth.
\n
• Assist families in navigating community resources and services to support their children’s developmental needs.
\n
• Ensure all services are delivered with the utmost consideration for the health and safety of clients and staff, maintaining a high standard of professional practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children aged birth to three years, particularly those with disabilities or developmental delays. By providing targeted early intervention services, you will help these children build essential physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Your role is crucial in advocating for their families, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and support to navigate early childhood challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Department of Public Health.

• Minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.

• Strong familiarity with Natural Learning Environment Practices and evidence-based approaches to child development.
\n
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to adapt communication and educational strategies to align with diverse learning styles.

• Ability to maintain professional relationships and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
