Work Environment

Your primary workplace will be our Rehabilitation Facility in Metuchen, New Jersey, where you will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including advanced therapeutic equipment and assessment tools. You will work Monday to Friday across a standard 40-hour shift, engaging actively with patients in a dynamic healthcare environment rooted in collaboration and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing individualized treatment plans that adhere closely to the prescribed care guidelines.
• Implement a spectrum of therapeutic interventions tailored to various patient needs, spanning orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties.
• Demonstrate unparalleled customer service, contributing to an organizational atmosphere where patient satisfaction and care efficacy are priorities.
• Engage in collaborative work with your colleagues to leverage collective expertise, thereby maximizing patient outcomes through evidence-based methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clinical practice will involve working directly with a diverse patient population, addressing a broad spectrum of conditions and rehabilitation needs. You will encounter individuals striving for recovery from various injuries, chronic conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation, allowing you to apply your expertise practically in real-world scenarios. Qualifications

• Holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possesses a valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current certification in CPR.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside proficient computer and word-processing skills.
• Ability to establish strong, trusting relationships with patients to help them exceed functional recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with specialized training or certifications in areas such as pediatrics, sports medicine, or neurological rehabilitation will be given preference. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also advantageous, as it streamlines patient documentation and management processes.
