Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to establish personalized therapy plans for clients, ensuring strategies align with their unique circumstances and goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at assisting individuals, couples, families, and groups in addressing a variety of mental health challenges.

• Employ a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to cater to each client's needs.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, sharing insights and updates to enhance patient progress and outcomes.

• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation of clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, safeguarding client confidentiality.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions, staying abreast of the latest research and methodologies in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on children, adolescents, and families from various socio-economic backgrounds. Our clients often face challenges related to trauma, family dynamics, substance use, and other mental health concerns. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying these issues and guiding clients toward healthier emotional and psychological states.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly within a clinical setting, is essential for success in this role.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
