Business Development Manager
Remote (May need to attend offline activities in person) | Contract for 3 months
* A leading global technology and social commerce platform is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and onboard high-potential sellers and brands onto its rapidly growing commerce ecosystem. This role will work closely with category and growth teams to educate, support, and scale merchants across the platform.
~ Engage and onboard high-potential sellers and merchants through phone calls, emails, video meetings, and other communication channels
• Manage and advance a pipeline of qualified prospects based on business potential, platform readiness, and live commerce capabilities
• Develop a strong understanding of category ecosystems and seller needs, and effectively communicate platform value propositions
• Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to drive merchant acquisition and onboarding success
• Assist newly onboarded sellers and brands with initial live commerce and platform launch activities
2+ years of experience in business development, merchant acquisition, partnerships, or e commerce platforms
• Familiarity with seller onboarding workflows and platform ecosystem operations
~ Experience working with collectibles, luxury resale, fashion, or other consumer product categories is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and sound business judgment
