Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate both pre-crisis and crisis interventions, as well as behavioral and medication treatment plans. Maintain clear and timely documentation that aligns with regulatory standards and guidelines. Implement evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with your clinical team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment strategies. Work in partnership with various teams and programs to create and execute positive behavior support plans that align with our agency's mission. Actively participate in the organization’s licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring all practices meet established quality standards. Serve as a liaison between clients and various service systems, including state agencies and community organizations, to facilitate comprehensive support. Engage in community outreach to establish effective communication channels that promote accessibility and program awareness. Develop and nurture relationships with local, state, and private organizations to bolster program visibility and explore potential funding opportunities. Participate in personal and professional development activities to enhance your skills and competencies, including attending conferences and representing the agency in community forums. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Blue Ridge Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with mental health disorders, substance use issues, and those in need of rehabilitative support for developmental disabilities and brain injuries. This role is pivotal in promoting recovery, enhancing emotional health, and providing clients with the tools needed to lead fulfilling lives. Qualifications A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required. Possession of an independent LMHC license from the state board. Strong ability to maintain clinical records and generate related reports. Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team setting. Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating ideas and treatment approaches clearly. Judgment and decision‑making skills that reflect professional knowledge and ethical considerations. Preferred Experience Prior experience in outpatient settings is favored. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions. Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of culturally competent care. Knowledge of community resources and systems related to mental health and substance use. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 86,000 to 103,000 annually, complemented by a variety of benefits designed to support your well‑being and professional growth.
