Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks aimed at assessing and addressing the needs of clients with co-occurring disorders:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' counseling needs, effectively utilizing Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) criteria for accurate substance abuse diagnoses.

• Prepare individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based approaches, focusing on the specific challenges presented by each client.

• Develop discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate transitions to appropriate levels of care post-treatment.

• Maintain thorough documentation of all counseling services, assessments, referrals, and follow-up actions in compliance with clinical record-keeping standards.

• Manage a caseload of clients while providing case management updates and ensuring all treatment planning and clinical charting duties are completed efficiently.

• Coordinate support services for clients and their families, documenting the impact and effectiveness of these services within clinical records.
