Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine appropriate therapeutic strategies tailored to individual needs.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions as well as group therapy to families, couples, and individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes while adhering to ethical standards and state regulations.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, focusing on overall health and well-being.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to enhance skills and stay updated on mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve providing mental health services to a diverse client base, including individuals and families who may have limited access to traditional forms of care. You will work with various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling, preferably in a mental health or clinical context.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse client population.

• Proven collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
