Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Bright View, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group therapy sessions that encourage clients to share personal stories, connect with peers, and foster a sense of community.

• Individual Counseling: Provide empathetic one-on-one counseling, helping clients delve into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing practical coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30, many of whom may be facing transitional life challenges such as academic pressures, relationship issues, and self-identity struggles. Your role is critical in helping these individuals foster resilience, discover their strengths, and build a foundation for lasting recovery.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy in outpatient settings, particularly with young adults.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team is preferred, along with familiarity with evidence-based therapies such as CBT or DBT. Previous work in community health settings and knowledge of the unique challenges faced by young adults will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
