Work Environment\n

This full-time position is remote, enabling you to conduct therapy sessions and provide counseling from wherever you work best. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments through interviews, observations, and medical record reviews to understand the emotional, social, and environmental factors influencing students' well-being and academic success.

• Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing issues such as adjustment to school life, social skills, bullying, and stress management.

• Collaborate with educators and the rehabilitation team to create personalized treatment plans that encompass students' emotional and social needs, ensuring continuity of care.

• Facilitate access to community resources, such as tutoring programs, mental health support groups, and vocational training, thereby enhancing students' overall quality of life.

• Educate families about available community resources, guiding them on how to best support their children's post-rehabilitation needs.

• Participate in discharge planning and assist in transitions from rehabilitation settings back to school and community life.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students dealing with emotional and behavioral challenges, learning disabilities, and other psychosocial issues. By fostering resilience and coping skills, you will play a critical role in their reintegration into the academic environment. This includes working with children recovering from trauma, anxiety, depression, and other conditions impacting their educational journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong foundational knowledge of child psychology and development, particularly in addressing adjustment issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
