This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance. While we primarily operate through virtual consultations, our outpatient office in Spokane serves as a supportive base for collaborative team meetings and occasional in-person interactions. You will have the tools and resources necessary to engage with clients effectively, including video conferencing software, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and access to a range of therapeutic tools and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at River Counseling Center, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Assess and support clients dealing with a variety of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, grief, and enhanced communication skills.
\n
• Develop, implement, and oversee personalized treatment plans that align with each client's values, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
\n
• Create an atmosphere of trust and collaboration that encourages open communication and rapport-building with clients and their families.
\n
• Utilize best practices to demonstrate effective therapeutic interventions tailored to clients’ needs and treatment objectives.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other mental health professionals and case managers, to ensure comprehensive and holistic client care.
\n
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention as needed, applying clinical judgment to address urgent client needs.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development, proactively seeking to enhance your expertise in particular areas such as adolescent therapy, trauma-informed approaches, or couples counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as an LMFT will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing various challenges. You will engage with clients from different backgrounds and ages, each with unique stories and therapeutic needs. By providing culturally sensitive, family-centered, and solution-focused therapeutic practices, you will play a crucial role in their journey toward better mental health.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Current licensure to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington (LMFT).

• Demonstrated strengths in clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and case management.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centered approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
