Key Responsibilities Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments with new patients and families, ensuring each individual’s unique background and needs are carefully considered. Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions based on assessed needs, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to promote healing and growth. Complete detailed documentation including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory requirements. Develop comprehensive crisis, relapse prevention, safety, and wellness plans to support clients in maintaining stable functioning and recovery. Create effective discharge plans that highlight client achievements and ongoing support options post-therapy. Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies to guarantee the highest quality of care. Engage in professional development activities through training, continuing education, and skill enhancement to ensure effective service delivery. Participate in regular case consultation and agency meetings to foster collaborative support practices and share knowledge among peers. Complete all necessary licensure and mandatory training to maintain professional standing in the field. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient population comprises diverse individuals from various backgrounds experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. You will work with clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties, ensuring culturally sensitive approaches that respect each client’s unique perspective and lived experiences. Qualifications A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field that results in licensure as a mental health professional. Active licensure in the State of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Preferred Experience Experience in community health settings is preferred, particularly with culturally diverse populations. Demonstrated ability to utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and assessments. Previous knowledge of electronic health record systems for efficient documentation and billing processes. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with your licensure and experience level.
