Our company is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Customer Success team to get customer feedback on product improvements;
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Develops and executes sales plans and coordinates sales efforts to achieve new customer revenue and existing customer up-sell revenue targets;
  • Tracks and maintains all prospect and client activity in Salesforce.com;
  • People Development – Contributes to the growth, development and positive experience of the sales team;
  • Developing relevant marketing reports and client facing account proposals with the support of cross functional teams;
  • Effectively maintain sales pipeline data and activity reports, providing management with accurate sales forecasts;
  • Frequently communicate both written and verbal with vendor and internal customer(s) to exchange accurate information regarding business needs;
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales teams and product owner to share account knowledge and execute on sales strategies;
  • Management and ownership of enterprise and strategic client accounts, ensuring 100% customer adoption and success;
  • Articulate and able to engage in conversation with senior executives about the benefits of Lab49 Consulting solutions for their organization;
  • Work closely with all levels of client organizations to uncover opportunities for growth within their business;
  • Direct complex sales cycles-including account mapping, development of high level relationships, account strategies, and business cases;
  • Represent SmartBear to the customer in all sales-related matters and understand the customer’s business, product requirements, and industry challenges.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent business experience;
  • A strong foundation for strategic and tactical selling of a solution sale;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Highly adept at navigating complex organizations and building relationships;
  • Strong sales performance track record;
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced technology company, start-up experience is a plus;
  • Understanding of revenue generating metrics, experience in a SaaS organization is a plus;
  • Experience in supporting and managing complex client relationships while discovering opportunities for revenue growth;
  • Demonstrated listening and negotiation skills;
  • Knowledge of third-party data sources and sales tactics to identify ideal prospects within accounts;
  • 5+ years of prior experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm;
  • Global sales experience;
  • 3+ years’ prior relevant enterprise level account management or sales experience at SaaS software company;
  • Experience and success with team selling.
