Responsibilities:
- Support and improve ongoing production test sequences for engineering deviations, quick iteration in the design cycle is very important at Zoox;
- Project management for the validation and test phases of supported projects, including reporting to leadership;
- Provide training and support to engineering technicians to expand testing capacity;
- Define and lead DFMEA action plans;
- Grow and develop a team of Test Engineers and Technicians;

Requirements:
- Knowledge of radio metrics, cryogenics, electronics, software and statistics;
- Experience working in and developing scripts in Ubuntu;
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent);
- Familiarity with automotive testing standards;
- Experience in computer architecture, assembly, and test methods;
- MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience;
- Experience with sensors, mechatronics, and thermal management systems preferred;
- 5+ years’ experience in aerospace, automotive or similar high-reliability engineering environment;
- Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles;
- 5+ years’ experience in aerospace, automotive or similar high-reliability engineering environment;
- Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices;
- BS Degree;
- Broad expertise or unique knowledge in area and uses skills to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles;
- Ability to handle multiple challenging, unstructured areas of responsibility;
- Experience with AS9100 quality standards.
