Our company is looking for a Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with the Production Shift Supervisor to coordinate production line support staff in accomplishing the lines’ objectives;
  • Assist in the training of new Operators;
  • Communicate processing information to designated personnel on incoming shift. Assist other Operators as needed;
  • Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards;
  • Verify material usage per standards;
  • Use of computers to access information, enter data and document information;
  • Cut and band scrap as directed;
  • Perform cycle counting and other inventory tasks, including material handling;
  • Monitor Material control (weight distribution, regrind levels, watch tail lengths, etc);
  • Troubleshooting errors that arise with equipment and machinery;
  • Overall line responsibility from production to packaging;
  • Participate in team meetings, which includes planning daily work and resource utilization, problem solving, project work, etc;
  • Responsible for producing quality products per the build signal;
  • Other duties as required;
  • Temp-to-Hire.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience working outdoors;
  • Integrity and self-motivation required;
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment is desired;
  • Applicant will be subject to a background check;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills;
  • Able to tolerate exposure to hot and cold conditions, according to the season;
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs;
  • Must be able to climb ladders;
  • Six months production experience preferred;
  • Must be 18 years of age;
  • Possess manual dexterity and good coordination;
  • All candidates will be subject to pre-employment drug screen;
  • Possess ability to resolve minor problems, recognize normal and unusual situations;
  • Visually able to determine color, shape, and size of a part.
