Administrative, Insurance and Service Contract

Qualifications

3-5 years’ experience in the legal field.

Paralegal/Legal Assistant certification preferred, but not required.

Special Skills Needed

Excellent organization, communication and writing skills

Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, Westlaw

Honest, pleasant, professional, organized, dependable, efficient, self starter, energetic

Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

Field telephone calls

Assist attorneys with regulatory compliance matters

Maintain organized electronic and working paper files at all times

Maintain Quickbase tracking system for projects in various states

Maintain working relationship with various clients and regulators

Assist in preparation of applications, including exhibits, for clients seeking licensure in various state regulatory venues

Assist with renewal licensure filing projects

Assist with form filing projects in various states via NAIC SERFF filing system

Legal research on insurance, service warranty, and administrative matters

Calendar maintenance and monitoring, response dates, appointments, deadlines

Draft and proof documents, applications & correspondence with accuracy

Other paralegal assignments as assigned

Other duties as assigned

Office Hours

8:30 am - 5:30 pm - In person
