Analytical Chemistry- Senior Research Chemist

Senior analytical chemistry scientist position responsible for conceiving and executing novel research and development initiatives in manufacturing. The role involves leading scientific efforts, optimizing analytical methods, publishing findings, and potentially supervising team members while maintaining regulatory compliance and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

Conceive, propose, and lead novel analytical research and development projects aligned with group strategy

Develop, investigate, and optimize new analytical methods and techniques

Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific conferences

Review scientific literature and integrate advances into ongoing research programs

Mentor and supervise team members, evaluate performance, and ensure team productivity and compliance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 12 years experience, or Master's degree with 10 years experience, or PhD with 4 years experience

Thorough theoretical and practical understanding of analytical chemistry discipline

Strong written and verbal communication skills for research and regulatory documentation

Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize analytical methods and techniques

Knowledge of GxP compliance, safety protocols, and controlled substance handling

Experience with scientific publication and conference presentation
