We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Flex Care Chiropractic Center in the heart of New York City. This full-time position focuses on providing high-quality orthopedic rehabilitation in an outpatient setting. Conduct detailed evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities, using diagnostic tests that gauge muscle strength, joint mobility, and functional performance.

Develop customized rehabilitation plans in alignment with prescribed treatment, utilizing evidence-based practices to prevent disability and alleviate pain.

Administer a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescriptions, and patient education to optimize recovery pathways.

Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in executing treatment plans, ensuring compliance with best practices and state regulations.

Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adapting care plans as needed while communicating updates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

Maintain up-to-date clinical records including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering strictly to administrative protocols and documentation policies.

Your expertise will serve a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and confidence as they navigate their rehabilitation journeys. Fostering an environment of trust and encouragement, you will tailor your approach to each patient's specific context and health history.

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.

A current and valid state PT license in New York, with a commitment to maintaining professional standards and certifications.

A minimum of 1 year of practical experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic or acute care setting.

Valid CPR certification and current knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations.

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, clinical excellence, and quality of care.

Experience working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team, with demonstrated ability to adapt to various patient needs.

Background in implementing evidence-based practices specifically tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software for patient documentation and progress tracking.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
