Physical Therapist - Full Time - Home Health Care

Position Overview Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our expert team in Sarasota, Florida. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide outstanding patient care in a home care environment, focusing on improving patient mobility and enhancing recovery through personalized approaches.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts available either from 8 AM to 4 PM, 9 AM to 5 PM, or as four 10-hour shifts, providing flexibility for work-life balance.

Design and implement individualized therapy plans that focus on specific patient goals, employing treatment modalities such as therapeutic exercises, modalities, and education.

Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient rehabilitation.

Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records, adhering to legal and organizational standards.

You will primarily work with diverse patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions, across various age groups. Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Valid Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and fellow healthcare providers.

Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting.

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in outpatient or home care settings.

Specialized training in therapeutic modalities or functional rehabilitation programs is advantageous.
