Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Better Movement, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couple, and family therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health issues.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to family dynamics, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans that address the needs of each family member.

• Evaluating and diagnosing clients through assessments and ongoing evaluations.
\n
• Facilitating case management and coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed to deliver holistic care.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment plans using our practice management software.
\n
• Participating in regular supervision and training sessions aimed at professional growth and skill enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and present a range of challenges. Your expertise will allow you to address:

• Alcohol abuse and dependency.
\n
• Physical and psychological abuse recovery.
\n
• Grief and loss issues affecting individuals and families.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts among family members, including siblings and parent-child relationships.

• Adjustment disorders stemming from life changes such as divorce, separation, and blended family dynamics.

• Communication difficulties, enhancing relationship satisfaction, and emotional regulation.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Validity of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in the state of Texas.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related behavioral health field.
