Key Responsibilities\n

• Assessment : Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs, challenges, and strengths related to mood disorders. This involves collecting comprehensive histories and understanding psychosocial factors influencing mental health.

• Diagnosis : Employ diagnostic tools, including the DSM-5, to establish accurate diagnoses and help guide treatment strategies for clients presenting mood disorders.

• Treatment Planning : Collaboratively develop detailed, evidence-based treatment plans with clients, ensuring that plans are tailored to their unique circumstances and therapeutic goals.

• Psychotherapy : Deliver high-quality psychotherapy using proven modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches to support clients effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Required Education : A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
