Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine patients' mental health statuses, strengths, and needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Implement established evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to support patient recovery.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure holistic, coordinated care for patients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication options, fostering understanding and compliance.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with the broader treatment team while respecting and integrating patient goals and preferences.

• Advocate for patients within the mental health system, ensuring they receive appropriate services and support.

• Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational sessions, as well as discharge planning meetings, to ensure a smooth transition from therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits\n
