Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to evaluate mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs of clients in the detox setting.

• Deliver behavioral health services to individuals, couples, and families, including counseling, diagnosing, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on substance abuse recovery, offering a safe space for clients to share experiences and learn coping strategies.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in electronic health records with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Act as a liaison between clients and local resources, connecting them with community agencies and support services, such as medication assistance programs.

• Collaborate with quality improvement teams to evaluate the effectiveness of services and implement process enhancements based on data collection.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals undergoing treatment for substance use disorders, many of whom may also face concurrent mental health issues. You will provide culturally sensitive care that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required, along with a minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
