Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial needs assessments by engaging with patients and their families, evaluating their social supports, community resources, and coping mechanisms.

• Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling to individuals and families navigating acute distress, offering support during critical moments.
\n
• Implement tailored supportive counseling strategies throughout the recovery process, addressing emotional responses and minimizing stress for both patients and their loved ones.

• Facilitate access to community resources and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

• Adhere to compliance standards and ethical practices, addressing any compliance questions and reporting violations as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will directly support individuals dealing with addiction and their families, encompassing a wide range of ages and backgrounds. The work involves understanding their unique circumstances, feelings, and challenges faced during the detox process, offering tailored support to ensure their recovery journey is as smooth and supported as possible.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a valid and current LCSW license in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical social work setting, with particular focus on mental health and substance use disorders.

• Demonstrated strong clinical and diagnostic skills to identify patients' needs and establish effective treatment plans.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
