Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health status of clients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and identifying specific therapeutic needs. Develop and execute personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to individual client goals and circumstances. Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities to foster emotional healing and growth. Regularly monitor client progress through follow-up assessments and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes. Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring immediate support and coordination with other services when required. Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment progress while adhering to all HIPAA and ethical guidelines. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and clinical psychologists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Engage in continuous learning by attending workshops, training sessions, and supervision meetings to remain current with best practices in mental health care. Uphold professional standards and ethical guidelines established by the state licensing board in the practice of mental health therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts. Therapeutic interventions will encompass a variety of approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring a supportive and empathetic environment for client development. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Oregon (LMFT, LPC, LCSW). Strong clinical assessment abilities with a proven track record in diagnosing mental health conditions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with clients. Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a commitment to client welfare and growth. Ability to function independently as well as within a multi-disciplinary team. Adept knowledge of ethical practices and regulations governing mental health therapy. Dedication to ongoing personal and professional development. Preferred Experience A minimum of three years in a related field is required, highlighting an established history of working with diverse populations in various therapeutic settings. Experience with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care would be particularly beneficial.
