Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct clinical assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents exhibiting symptoms of major mental illness or severe emotional disorders.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement integrated care plans that are tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions aimed at promoting mental health and emotional well-being.
\n
• Carry a specific caseload of clients, ensuring consistent attendance at meetings and sessions while tracking progress and outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services when necessary, including immediate support during emergencies.
\n
• Conduct brief evidence-based screenings to evaluate mental health status, and arrange for comprehensive evaluations as required.

• Maintain compliance with professional ethical standards, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all clients.

• Document progress notes, treatment plans, and other relevant data in a timely manner to support quality improvement and accountability objectives.

• Participate in case conferences and community outreach initiatives to enhance service delivery and promote mental health awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of pediatric clients, including those from underprivileged backgrounds who may struggle with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns. The role demands an understanding of the unique cultural, socioeconomic, and developmental factors affecting our clients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, coupled with a current LCSW license in New York State.

• Demonstrated understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies relevant to children and adolescents.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Proficiency in managing risks and navigating crises effectively.

• Ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, showing sensitivity to differing values and practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of clinical experience working with children and families in a mental health or educational setting.

• Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
