Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Renewed Harmony Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of students.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans rooted in best practices and solution-focused methodologies.
\n
• Delivering various forms of psychotherapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and more, tailored to meet the psychological needs of each student.

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA standards and reflects client progress and treatment plans.
\n
• Engaging in regular interdisciplinary meetings with educators, psychologists, and school administrators to coordinate care and support for students.
\n
• Providing psychoeducation to students and their families, outlining relevant mental health resources and treatment options.
\n
• Staying informed about the latest research and trends in mental health to enhance clinical practice.
\n
• Managing a full caseload of students, ensuring that treatment objectives are consistently pursued and met.
\n
• Adhering to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving a diverse population of students from various backgrounds, presenting a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your expertise will not only guide students towards achieving their mental health goals but also involve collaborating with families and school staff to foster an inclusive approach to mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• At least three years of clinical experience, particularly in settings providing psychotherapy services.

• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-based interventions and psychotherapy techniques.

• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to connect with both children and adults in a compassionate manner.

Preferred Experience\n
