Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough biomechanical evaluations and movement assessments to understand each athlete's unique needs.
• Implement manual therapy techniques and develop progressive, evidence-based rehabilitation programs tailored to individual recovery goals.
• Design and administer advanced return-to-play testing protocols along with sport-specific training regimens that enhance athletic performance.
• Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and performance professionals to ensure that treatment plans are effective and well-coordinated.
• Provide education and resources to athletes, focusing on injury prevention strategies, recovery processes, and enhancing long-term mobility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on athletes and active individuals, encompassing a broad spectrum from youth sports players to seasoned professionals. You will engage with clients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, and sports-related conditions, tailoring your approach to meet their specific rehabilitation and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Nevada or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for sports medicine, biomechanics, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and functional performance training that aligns with the needs of athletes.
• Exceptional communication skills with a strong belief in an athlete-first mindset to motivate and educate clients.
• Ability to work confidently in both rehabilitation and return-to-sport environments, facilitating a smooth transition for clients.

Preferred Experience

• Credentials such as Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) or Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) are advantageous.
• Background in athletic training or experience with collegiate or professional sports rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with advanced modalities, including blood flow restriction therapy, dry needling, and the use of sport-tech tools like force plates and motion capture systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, benefits include:
