Work Environment\n

You will be part of a dynamic and flexible telehealth environment that prioritizes work-life balance and client-centred care. Our practice operates virtually, allowing for a diverse range of working hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. This flexibility opens up opportunities for you to establish a robust clinical caseload, with a full schedule typically achievable within the first 90 days post-credentialing (a process we facilitate at no cost to you).

Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCPC at Tarrant Post-Acute Care, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate each patient's trauma history and establish tailored treatment approaches.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, with a focus on trauma recovery and building resilience.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, aimed at helping patients process their trauma and cultivate effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, holistic care for all patients.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster understanding and healing.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will predominantly involve working with individuals who have experienced trauma, along with their families and support systems. You will focus on providing trauma-informed care, addressing a wide range of trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Maryland.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, highlighting a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Proven ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, exhibiting professionalism at all times.
