Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health status of students, identifying their strengths and areas of need;

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to provide effective individual, group, and family therapy;
\n
• Collaborate with educational staff, school psychologists, and other mental health professionals to design and implement coordinated care strategies customized to each student's needs;
\n
• Educate students and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management to empower them in their recovery journey;
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, their families, and the treatment team, ensuring that goals align with patient aspirations;
\n
• Advocate for students’ rights and needs within the educational system, assisting them in navigating complex mental health resources;
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and psychoeducation workshops aimed at building skills and resilience in students;
\n
• Participate in discharge planning and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure a seamless transition for students returning to school following inpatient treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving K-12 students who require mental health support in a school setting. You will address a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. Working closely with students, families, and school personnel, you will help create a nurturing environment that promotes students' overall well-being and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required;
\n
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is a prerequisite for this position;

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention strategies is essential;

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
