Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies for clients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Employ diverse therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy according to client needs.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, participating in team meetings and case discussions to strengthen client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in workshops and training sessions to stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Life Stance, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Many of our clients have limited access to healthcare services, and your expertise will be integral to helping them navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the counseling profession.
