This is a remote position that allows you to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of your home while maintaining a strong connection with our outpatient office in Gilbert, Arizona. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to individuals facing various mental health challenges.

Our flexible work schedule—Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM—may require occasional adjustments based on patient needs, giving you the freedom to balance professional and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your responsibilities as a Mental Health Counselor will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and developing personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.

• Implementing various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively meet patient needs.

• Maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards to safeguard patient confidentiality.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, engaging in case consultations and peer reviews to enhance care quality.

• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, focusing on individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client will be crucial in helping them achieve their mental health goals and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

To be a successful candidate for this position, you must possess:

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Strong understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to offer personalized care.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.

• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities in dynamic treatment situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in outpatient settings, familiarity with electronic health record systems, and a proven track record of positive patient outcomes. Compensation and Benefits\n
