Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments using structured interviewing techniques and standardized screening tools to diagnose mental health conditions accurately.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs, goals, and cultural backgrounds of clients, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, applying techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness therapies to enhance client engagement and foster personal growth.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, ensuring coordinated and holistic care efforts for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to serve a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on Latinx individuals struggling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will encompass understanding the cultural contexts of clients’ experiences and using that knowledge to inform treatment approaches, enhancing effectiveness and relevancy.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology.

• Demonstrated competency in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders predominantly through evidence-based practices.
