Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist at Encompass Rehabilitation Center, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional capabilities.
• Direct a variety of therapeutic interventions, utilizing manual therapy, exercise programs, and other modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Evaluate patients' physical conditions using a range of diagnostic tests, addressing muscle strength, joint function, and overall progression towards recovery.
• Collaborate closely with Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective delivery of treatment plans and oversee their implementation in accordance with state regulations.
• Conduct home assessments to make recommendations that foster independence and safety in the daily environments of clients, as necessary.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
