Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including the severity, frequency, and duration of their experiences.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs, preferences, and recovery goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective therapy sessions.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices that empower recovery.

• Monitor clients’ progress through regular follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.

• Remain informed about the latest research and methodologies in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance clinical practices.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress accurately, adhering to necessary legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is a must.

• A valid and current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is required.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A thorough understanding of psychopharmacology and an ability to work in sync with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• A proven history of positive patient outcomes centered on the effective treatment of mood disorders.
