Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, crisis intervention assessments, and follow-up care tailored to individual client needs.

• Determine patient disposition to ensure they receive the appropriate level of mental health care, coordinating effectively with community resources.

• Complete required statistical reports and maintain meticulous documentation to track patient progress and care interventions.

• Collaborate closely with the Department of Correction to ensure access to appropriate housing and treatment for patients involved in the system.

• Coordinate care with other institutional programs to facilitate holistic treatment plans.
\n
• Lead therapeutic group sessions for patients on mental health observation units and similar settings, fostering a supportive group dynamic.

• Engage in clinical supervision with a Clinical Supervisor weekly to enhance professional development and ensure high-quality care.

• Participate in patient rounds, case conferences, and treatment planning meetings to ensure comprehensive treatment modalities are being integrated for our clients.

• Occasionally conduct psychological testing as assigned, using validated methodologies to gather crucial insights into client needs.

• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers, providing guidance and mentoring to foster future generations of mental health professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population facing a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• The ability to obtain and maintain valid credentials as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
