Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs, crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to their circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, including modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.

• Facilitate treatment and care coordination by collaborating with external providers and supporting services, ensuring holistic treatment for clients.

• Respond to crises by offering immediate support, applying your clinical expertise to de-escalate situations and connect clients with necessary resources.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives and develop programs aimed at raising mental health awareness and reducing stigma.

Your work at Valor will have a direct impact on clients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups. You will address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• An active, independent license as a mental health professional, specifically as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or higher in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to create meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients.

• A high level of cultural competence and sensitivity, allowing effective engagement with a diverse client base.

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
