Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals and needs.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, to foster effective therapeutic progress.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring prompt support and guidance during emergencies.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, aligning with ethical practices and legal regulations.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for all clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and community resources, while advocating for their rights and needs.

• Continue professional development through ongoing training, workshops, and learning opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a broad spectrum of clients ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your role is critical in creating a safe therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to pursue their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Georgia is required.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
