Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge patients' trauma history, emotional state, and mental health needs.

• Developing and executing customized treatment plans that target trauma recovery and promote resilience.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver high-quality interventions.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and care coordinators, to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each client's needs.

• Providing timely crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute trauma-related crises.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources to empower them in their healing process.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential clinical documentation, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Participating in regular case consultations and team meetings focused on continuous professional development and trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population predominantly consists of trauma survivors seeking therapeutic support for managing PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health challenges. As a therapist, you will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences, resilience levels, and mental health journeys. Your expertise will be vital in facilitating their healing process and helping them regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Texas.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field, specifically in trauma therapy or related areas.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a robust foundation in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• The ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, particularly during client crises.

• Proficient with electronic health record systems and digital communication tools commonly used in a telehealth setting.

• A team-oriented mindset, capable of collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with a more extensive background in trauma therapy, group therapy facilitation, or specialized certifications in trauma-informed care will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits\n
