Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs, strengths, and treatment goals, employing a patient-centered approach.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions addressing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal issues, and major life transitions.

• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the integration of various professional perspectives to achieve comprehensive, holistic care.

• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation, adhering to ethical and legal standards as well as organizational policies.

• Engage in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to remain informed of the latest practices in mental health treatment.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives designed to raise awareness and remove barriers to mental health services for diverse populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with a diverse population that spans various age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clients often present with a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and everyday life stressors. You will have opportunities to create meaningful relationships that foster healing and growth, significantly impacting your clients' lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, active licensure in New York as a LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges, particularly those affected by co-occurring disorders.

• Experience providing therapy to children, families, and couples is highly desirable.

• A strong understanding of current trends and practices in individual and family counseling, including evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
