Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, history, and patient goals.

• Implement and adjust treatment protocols according to patient progress, utilizing various techniques and modalities to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Monitor and document changes in patient conditions, ensuring clear communication with interdisciplinary teams for necessary adjustments to care plans.

• Deliver educational materials to patients and families to enhance self-management and recovery routines post-treatment.

• Efficiently manage documentation and billing processes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulations.

• Participate in facility meetings and team events, contributing to discussions about clinical practices, patient care initiatives, and quality improvement projects.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge by engaging in professional development and attending relevant training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and independence. We serve a diverse clientele, from young athletes to older adults seeking rehabilitation, ensuring a dynamic and rewarding practice environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on outpatient orthopedics preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
