Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' medical histories, physical examinations, and overall health to devise comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Design and implement a variety of therapeutic exercise programs to enhance mobility, strength, and functional capacity, using modalities suitable for each patient's diagnosis.
• Apply advanced manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and dry needling to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and support healing processes.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and self-management strategies to ensure they can effectively continue their recovery at home.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment protocols based on outcomes and ongoing assessments.
• Maintain meticulous patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic muscular disorders. You will treat patients across various age groups, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each demographic, from young athletes to older adults requiring rehabilitation for age-related conditions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered therapy and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, reflecting proficiency in treating a variety of conditions.
