Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their backgrounds.

• Create, implement, and continually modify evidence-based treatment plans that cater to the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, or family therapy to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create a cohesive treatment approach that focuses on holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring that immediate care is accessible to those in need.

• Educate families on mental health conditions and available treatment options, promoting community resource accessibility.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings and case consultations to stay informed about best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 18 who present with a variety of mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
