Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of children and adolescents, taking into account their developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Engage in active collaboration with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health issues.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions tailored to each patient's circumstances.

• Offer crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring that they receive timely assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources to support ongoing care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents dealing with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of relevant licensure (LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT) in California is mandatory; applicants with an associate license cannot be considered due to Medicare regulations.

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, as well as evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of establishing rapport with children and their families in a compassionate, child-centered manner.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, with an ability to adapt approaches to meet varying developmental needs.

• Competence in using electronic health record systems and familiarity with general computer applications.

• Salary range: USD 80,000 – 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
